One Month Ago Today, sts135, nasatweetup

I woke up at 1:30 in the morning, and was at the La Quinta Daytona at 2:30 am.


I drove myself and 4 new friends 80 miles south, and hung out in a parking lot for a little while, RAVE NASATweetup style.

Then drove onto Kennedy Space Center, and saw this:

Then I hung out with these people

and watched this

while we prayed for the clouds to part.
I visited

I got to hear and met

and

and

and



and then finally after all of that wait, this happened...



And then I did a little bit of this

and some hanging out with these people:


Tried to convince this guy to come visit us in the twent

And then after 17 hours I drove back to Daytona with these people


And you know what? If they asked me today to go back and do it all again tomorrow? I would be there in less than 8 hours.
