While we were at the park taking pictures Natalie was all about hurrying up and going to the prom because she wanted to see Z and T. I kept telling her that they may not be there that early, but she had her wish granted and they were there.

Natalie's spring concert

I haven't felt like editing pictures lately, so these are again SOOC.

Natalie's middle school band had their spring concert on Thursday (yes Thursday was a busy day!) For a first year band, as in first year at the school, first year for 90% of these kids to play an instrument, they did a great job!

I am not sure what is on DJ's forehead...

Quick Prom Pictures

Just a few quick pictures from tonight. I have over 300 to go through and pick and choose, plus edit any that I think need to be.

With Daddy in the hospital still the little kids got to go do pictures too. DJ was mad when we had to leave the actual dance, he wanted to stay and dance the night away. We told him since he wouldn't dance with Tiffany he couldnt stay. ;)

Center for Puppetry Arts Field Trip

On Thursday I had the pleasure of going on DJ's field trip to the Center For Puppetry Arts in Atlanta.

We had a good time, I am just not sure that the drive was worth the day. 2 hours up there, 2 1/2 hours there and 2 hours home.

The Puppet show was great, and the exhibits were nice, even if we couldn't take pictures. :( So these are SOOC (straight off of camera) pictures from the create a puppet workshop.

The storms that came through tonight had the potential for a tornado, and we had the kids and animals in the bathroom as it sounded like we had one on top of us. That part was not cool.

Prom Pictures for Twiggs County Prom

If you are wanting prom pictures taken tomorrow night and can not afford the price that is being charged at the prom send me an email! We will be in Macon by the river around 7 pm taking my daughter's pictures and I am willing to take pictures for anyone else that needs them. I will edit and download your pictures onto a CD that I can get to you over the weekend, or at the school on Monday. The only price that I will ask for is the cost of the CD. :)

Jerry is back in the hospital

For low potassium, again.

I am not sure this time if it is because it was dropping like always, or if it was because he has been sick for the last 2 days and that made it drop.

While I was with DJ in Atlanta at the Puppetry Arts Center one of Jerry's friends from on the base called and said that she was running him to the ER. I guess the doctors told him to go, but it wasn't low enough that they wanted to call the ambulance (thank goodness), but when he ran into Cathy, she decided that he needed to be driven, and not drive himself.

Oh and get this! Jerry has an appointment at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville next week. HA a week too late it looks like! Not that that appointment is for his potassium, its for his hietial hernia, but since the doctors are supposed to be the best in the land, one would hope that when they see these results in his records they might take the initative to do something about it! Then again Jerry probably will have to postpone that appointment because we STILL have not gotten the money from our trip to Texas, you know the one 6 weeks ago?

Anyway...

When we got back from Atlanta I called and talked to Jerry at the ER and he said they are keeping him overnight to run potassium in, but he didn't want me to drive in and miss Natalie's band concert/band awards. I told him to call if he needs anything and I can go in, plus I already told Dr. S at school that he is in the hospital so if I need to take off tomorrow I can (I shouldn't have to, but you never know!)

Now if I can just keep the house from falling apart around us while he is gone it will be good! Yesterday it was the hot water heater taking a crap, the air conditioning still is not working, and the rent check that Jerry's mom sent for us last month still is not there. Thank goodness for my friend Sherri's hubby, he came over and helped Jerry get the hot water heater fixed! Too bad finding the check in the postal system is not that easy!

Please pray for my friend Cherri's daughter

Please say a prayer for my friend Cherri's daughter Carrie and grandbaby.

Carrie is experiencing what sounds like preterm labor at about 22 weeks (maybe a bit further along but not much). Carrie has had several early term miscarriages and we were all so excitted that she had, had no problems so far.

If you could lift them up in prayer that everything will be fine and that the baby will stay put healthy for a while longer.
