Lowes Award from Crestview City Christmas Parade

Tonight we got to go to the City Council meeting and get our award for getting second place. I didn't take my camera so the pictures are just from my phone.








I applied for another job with Lowes up in Georgia today. Its another one that I am not sure that I am qualified for, but I can hope since I had an OUTSTANDING review today that, that in itself will help my cause.

Yesterday I searched and sent off my resume to every cultural type of place within a 30 mile radius of the base. Of course I have heard back from all of them that they have a full staff in their education departments but that they will keep my resume on file, and to come in and volunteer if I can to help get my name out there. So I will try and do that.

I am just getting frustrated with the entire process.

Gingerbread houses

We made gingerbread houses tonight. Much fun was had by all, well all except William, who was having to finish his science project that is due Wednesday.

My going away party from Lowes

I haven't posted in two days because it has been a busy two days.

Friday, I worked a couple of extra hours because they had a cashier call in sick. Then we went out to dinner at Beef O'Brady's and to the Cave in Holt, for my going away party with the people from Lowes. We had a great time hanging out, singing, and drinking.












































Then yesterday I woke up, made breakfast and got ready for work. I was going to wear DJ's Lowes hat that he got at the parade last weekend. But DJ told me that its his hat, and that I couldn't wear it. So there the plan flew out the window. Even when I was trying to go out to his tractor and convince him that I could wear it, and he kept putting it back on his head. Silly boy, even now he is wearing it. Guess he likes it...

How I spent part of my lunch hour today

Laughing my behind off at Pat, who managed to get his truck stuck in the mud behind Lowes.






Yes it is up to the frame.

Jerry and DJ tried pulling him out in the Trailblazer and couldn't. Then they tried digging it out. Finally Pat ended up calling a wrecker to come and pull it out.

And my going away party has been changed from 6 pm to 7 pm, because Beef's couldnt get our group in that early. Hope to see you there!
