Today was a long day.
We were under a tornado watch most of the morning, and I think having the first tornado drill today did not help.
The kids all fed off of it, and were just wired the rest of the day.
So I am tired

Bahhhh, I thought we were done with Tornado watch/warnings. well, I was wishing we were done. I remember last yr on the kids first day of school there was a horrible storm. Hope this yr starts better for us.
now, im going to go check our weather for next week, lol
It's been an age since I lived in Hurricane/Tornado territory. I miss them, to tell the truth. I always enjoyed those times of hunkering in basements and reading until it sounded calm again outside. Those gorgeous glorious moments of being in the eye of the storm were nothing short of perfect, stepping outside to tranquility with a 360 degree view of wind and water in writhing war with the land itself. I miss it a lot, but not nearly as much as I miss you.
