Teddy Bear Teddy Bear turn around

One of the things that I love about the Pre-K program that is at our school, is the monthly family nights that they put on after school.

Each month there is something new and fun for the parents and children to learn about and do.

Last month we recieved Pocket for Corduroy, as well as a Word Whammer.

This month it was all about nursery rhymes. We made stick puppets for Old McDonald, Teddy Bear Teddy Bear turn around, and Old Mother Hubbord. DJ made a spider out of a brownie, twizzlers, and M&Ms for Little Miss Muffett, and then played PattyCake with playdough. Plus we got free flashlights to remind us, to Turn a Light on Literacy. Talk about a great night for all of us.

But the highlight of the evening was the special visitor to act out Teddy Bear Teddy Bear with the children.

It pays to have a forestry station just down the road from the school!

For some reason though Smokey would not do the part about Teddy Bear Teddy Bear stand on your head! ;)
