The read aloud book for our school this past two months has been
Wolf! By Becky Bloom. While I was exploring the web in search of lesson plans based on the book, I came across a
Reader's Theater, based on the book.
My class and I decided that we wanted to perform the play for the Pre-K classes. It worked out perfect in that with 23 students in my class, and 7 cast members we could perform it 3 times and have it perfect.
We ended up doing the plays all right back to back for all three classes, plus any of our parents that wanted to come (about 10 sets of parents came! Not bad considering it was the middle of the afternoon.)
They did me proud, and they were so adorable doing it. DJ said that it was the BEST PLAY EVER! :)
