Dallas schools lay off 375 teachers
I told Jerry just last week that I felt good that we had jobs that were pretty much "depression" proof.
I guess I was wrong.
Now the worries start all over again..

I hope your district stays afloat and no one loses their job.
We have assumed Bens job is pretty secure with the fact that their will always be crime and he's fairly high up that he'd miss the swing of the ax.
When I did teach I got laid off twice for budget reasons...so sad that money for education isn't always there.
Oh, it is recession proof. It's just not stupidity proof.
