The Friends of the Twiggs County Sheriff's Office held their March meeting on March 1st 2012 at 6:00PM at the Sheriff's Office.
The Friends of agreed to pay $250 for the annual Sheriff's Office Easter Egg Hunt to be held on March 31st at the county pond property.
The Friends also approved to pay for departmental polo shirts for all the 911 dispatchers and office staff. Payment pending so that Major McDaniel can submit an invoice.
An invoice was submitted to the Friends of to pay for an entrance rug with the Sheriff's Office logo. Invoice submitted was for $226.00.
The Friends of made a total of $1,815.00 on the gun raffle.
The raffle was held and the winner was Mr. Casey Carden of Danville Ga. ………..Congratulations.
I would like to thank all those that sold or bought tickets for the raffle. All 100% of the proceeds raised goes towards the purchase of equipment and programs sponsored by the Twiggs County Sheriff's Office to better our community. We have a meeting every first Thursday of the month at the Sheriff's Office so if anyone is interested please come all.
