Independence Day Celebration at Voice Of Truth Church in Irwington

A friend of ours told us about the Independence Day Celebration that was held on Sunday night at The Voice of Truth Church http://votchurch.com/ in Irwington GA. When Laura posted directions on her facebook page and reminded me, we jumped in the car and took off up there. We arrived just in time, for the clouds to break loose and the thunderstorm to kick up, but also for The Akins concert. http://www.theakinsonline.com/
We really enjoyed both the concert and the fireworks! A huge thank you to Laura and the Burgamy family for telling us about the event so we could go!



DJ had fun dancing to the music






Towards the end of the concert, the rain stopped and they were able to get the fireworks set up and ready to go! (Which made DJ a very happy kid!)
