An International Space Station Story by M, inspired by the @Astro_Ron @NASATweetup

This is the second in the series of stories by my fourth grade students that I am going to share. As I said Tuesday, after hearing about the #NASAtweetup with Ron Garan, asking questions through my fellow tweeps, and hearing some of the answers, my fourth grade homeroom students were inspired to turn their homework where they were to write stories using their spelling words, into stories about living on the International Space Station, or just in space.

Over the next couple of days I am going to share what they wrote. I will only use their first initials for their protection.

Today's story is by M. M is a fourth grade 9 year old girl.

I saw a hideous space monster. Then I saw a gorgeous space monster. I saw a big rhinocerous in space. It is so peaceful in space. There is an ancient thing in space. I sang a melody named Frankenstein while I was in space. Then I saw an enormous ramshackle spacecraft. I saw a peculiar thing in spcae. Whatsoever did you see? Imagine something in the sky.
Would you believe I saw a mammoth in space? Whyever did you go to be in space? I was waddling in space, I was radiant in space. Space is scary.
Space can be fun. St can be hard. I would love going to space. I wonder what it is likein space. I want to see a star from space. I love space.
